Call out for Casino classmates to attend reunion

DID you graduate from St Mary's Primary School at Casino in 1986?

A reunion has been organised for the weekend of June 11-12, and organisers are still searching for former classmates.

Lyndal Van Eede said they'd had a lot of success in tracking down about 90% of the people that were part of the Class of 1986 at St Mary's.

"We would love to be able to reach as many of our classmates as possible to let them know of the reunion weekend," she said.

"If you or you have a family member who was part of our class then please ask them to get in touch. It will be a great weekend."

The Saturday night has seen a change of venue. Past students and teachers are invited to Casino's Historical Commercial Hotel from 6pm.

Tickets are $50 and partners are more than welcome to come along. There will be live entertainment. You can book your tickets by emailing cinnamonclark@gmail.com.

The Sunday will start at the North Casino Mini Rail at 9.30am where you and your family can enjoy a ride on the miniature locomotives and then make your way to Crawford Square (Southside Park) from 11am for a picnic and family games afternoon.
