Byron tourism meeting tonight

BYRON United are calling on residents to attend a presentation on technologies being introduced to promote the town.e townt

The presentation will be held in the Southern Cross room at the Byron Bay Community Centre (upstairs) today at 5:30pm. for an update on the Byron Naturally campaign.

The in-depth presentation will provide details on the "cutting-edge technologies being introduced to promote (the) town and region responsibly". 

With Destination NSW recognising the importance Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers region is to the state, they are fully supporting the $350,000 campaign showcasing local businesses and promoting Byron Bay and surrounding towns. 

The campaign combines TV, web, social media and a mobile app to engage thousands of visitors, not only during the holidays and events, but all year round.

"There's no better investment you can make to promote your product or service and help sustain our local economy," a spokesperson said.
