YOU know you've got talent when the producer and host of the show you're auditioning for give you a standing ovation.
And that's what happened to Bundaberg's Quatro string quartet, when the group auditioned for the new Young Talent Time television show recently.
Group members Vanessa Smith, Radha Shukla, Amity Brand and Claudia Vogel are set to star in the first episode of the revived show, which launched the careers of Tina Arena and Dannii Minogue, and will premiere next year.
"They had us play the audition piece twice and another piece, just because they wanted to hear more," Amity said.
"We were nervous, but that turned to excitement."
As well as the show success, the girls have been named as finalists in the Golden Fiddle Awards in the youth achievement and band featuring a fiddle player sections.
They will perform in the Golden Fiddle Show in January, when they will find out if they have won the prestigious awards.
