Bullying forum is on centre stage

THE Northern Star, in conjunction with Lismore City Council, will hold a public forum on Bullying in the Community on Wednesday, February 25.

The forum follows The Northern Star's Stop The Bullying campaign.

With a panel of experts to answer questions, the forum will provide an opportunity for the public to put forward ideas and discuss solutions to bullying in our community.

The panel will include MP Don Page, who was bullied as a child, Anne Graham, Professor of Childhood Studies and Director of the Centre for Children & Young People at Southern Cross University, clinical psychologist Brad Ward from Lismore Base Hospital Mental Health Service, Mark Gasson from UNCLE, Greg Telford from Rekindling Spirit and a police representative.

MP Thomas George will open the forum and Mark Jewel from TAFE will facilitate.

The forum will be held at the Lismore City Hall in the Fountain Room, and will run from 6pm to 8.30pm.
