Toddler resuscitated after near-drowning in Bay

A TODDLER has been pulled from a pool in Scarness after a near-drowning at an apartment complex.

The boy was unresponsive when he was pulled from the water about 1.39pm today.

A spokesman from the Queensland Ambulance said CPR was performed by bystanders at the scene and the boy was resuscitated.

The boy was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
