BYRON BAY played host to celebrities Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently when they hired out Circus Arts Byron Bay for a half-day of fun for their six children.

Brad and Angelina reportedly joined in the trapeze action themselves, and had such an amazing experience that Angelina wrote a thank-you letter (pictured) to Circus Arts.

"The younger children enjoyed the Play Space and jumping castle and all the kids learnt juggling, tight-wire, trampolining and silks," said Kate Priddle, marketing, events and entertainment manager. "They loved learning how to tumble, and the high flying trapeze was a huge hit, with a few of the kids making a catch."

Trapeze trainer Ted Tornaros said Brad and Angelina were relaxed and happy with the children and lovely to all the staff.

"The whole family seemed to genuinely enjoy their time at Circus Arts," he said. The famous couple hired helicopters to fly from Brisbane to enjoy lunch at Raes on Wategos.
