Boy, 13, caught at crime scene

BALLINA police have arrested a 13-year-old Goonellabah boy for break and enter after he was caught at the scene.

He has subsequently been charged with aggravated break and enter, entering a dwelling with intent to steal and breach of bail.

He appeared in the Lismore Children’s Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to reappear on July 15.

Meanwhile, Lismore police have arrested a 43-year-old male in North Lismore.

He was charged with breach of bail in relation to a recent break and enter and steal charge.

He was refused bail.
