BMX bandits after your bike

POLICE are warning bicycle owners to lock up their bike following a number of thefts in Lismore and Goonellabah.

Bikes have been stolen from people's yards, both under verandas and leaning up against houses.

Police advise although people should have to lock up their bikes on their own property they should ensure they are secure, especially if the property doesn't have a fence.

Anyone who sees a person in a neighbours yard they believe shouldn't be there is advised to call their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
