Big night of boxing for Lismore

WOODBURN'S Easson Wilson and Ballina's Alan Snow will contest a junior heavyweight bout in a packed night of boxing at the Lismore Workers Club on Saturday.

A women's bout between national champion Jessica Retallack (Noosa) and Lismore's NSW champion Shelly Watts will be one of the highlights of the program.

Both boxers are aiming for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Grafton jockey Craig Franklin will shape up to Casino boxer Danial Preece.

Others hoping to be matched on Saturday night include Billy Robinson, Joe Schofield, Craig Armstrong, Michael Kranicz, Jed Cullen and Lincoln Knight.

Lismore's Justin Small has been matched with Brisbane's Jay Novac.

The first fight is set to begin at 7.30pm. All tickets are $10.
