Betting on the seats of Richmond and Page

SITTING Labor candidates Janelle Saffin and Justine Elliot are odds on to retain their seats at the next election.

Sportsbet.com.au have release the latest odds for Page and Richmond.

It seems that after some early support for Coalition candidates in the betting, the latest trend is back to Labor.

In the seat of Richmond Labor is at $1.33 while the Coaltion trails at $3, while in Page Labor is $1.33 and the Coalition $2.40.

69% of all money bet In Richmond  has been on the Labor candidate and 31% on the Coalition.

In Page, 68% of all money bet on the seat has been on the Labor candidate and 32% on the Coalition.

The Coalition started as the $2.00 outsider in January but firmed into $1.40 by early June, but since then the money has come in in favour of Labor and as a result, the Coalition are now out to $2.40.

Labor had drifted out to $2.65 by early June but have firmed right back into favouritism.
