Better access to preschools

FAMILIES on the NSW Mid and Far North Coasts are being given improved access to preschool thanks to a funding injection totalling $322,406 to create up to 90 new places.

Minister for Community Services Linda Burney announced the funding in Lismore today where she attended the North Coast State Plan report back meeting with stakeholders.

Ms Burney, who was appointed as the first Minister for the State Plan in December, launched the North Coast Local Action Plan to an audience of local community members, representatives from businesses, local government, State government and non-government agencies.
