Bellinger, Nambucca, Orara - Sunday flood warnings continue
FLOOD warnings remain current for the Bellinger, Orara and Nambucca Rivers as the wet weather continues.
Showers are expected to continue for the remainder of the day but in northern NSW, the weather radar (at 11.15am) shows they are generally restricted to the immediate coastal fringe.
In the 24 hours until 9am today Sunday, 7.6mm (not 9mm as stated in a previous update) had been recorded.
Since 9am, a further 1.4mm fell with the heaviest showers restricted to an area between Corindi and Urunga.
Minor flooding continues at Thora and Bellingen where major flood peaks were recorded early Saturday morning.

Minor flooding continues along the Orara River at Glenreagh where the river peaked near 10.2 metres (manual gauge) around 5am Saturday.

The Nambucca River at Bowraville (Lanes Bridge) peaked around 9 metres on Saturday morning and has now fallen below its minor flood level.
At Macksville, the river level has now fallen below its minor flood level after it peaked at 2.47 metres around 1pm Saturday.
