Health challengers beating the bulge for life

"FINALLY, I am off the plateau," said 42-year-old Your Slim Challenge participant Donna Connelly, of Rock Valley.

"I have lost seven kilograms so far and gone down one to two dress sizes.

"It seems to be more about toning for me.

"I like the fact that it is slow and steady as I am more likely to get lasting results."

Casino mum of three Cristy Handcock was getting back on track at the gym after the school holidays.

"I have been running around with the kids and I haven't put any weight on," she said.

Greg Holland, 51, of Goonellabah, was keeping up the good work while Leeanne Holland, also of Goonellabah, reported she had lost a total of 10kg.

"I had two weeks holiday but I stuck to eating really well," she said.

"I am even having my salads with no mayonnaise.

"It has been a great week - and the Cowboys won!"
