Beat the heat – the pool’s cool

URSULA Knisha, 4 of Goonellabah, and mum Adrienne had the right idea yesterday.

As the temperature slipped past 32 degrees Celsius yesterday, the pair took to the Lismore Memorial Baths to cool off.

The sunny days are set to continue today and tomorrow, but temperatures are expected to start falling from today.

Today's temperatures are expected to peak in the mid-20s, cooling further as moderate westerly winds today switch to light southerly winds tomorrow.

Isolated showers are forecast to set in on Sunday and Monday with temperatures in the low 20s before the weather heats up again mid-next week.
