‘Be weird and feel okay with it’
AMERICAN emotional healing coach JP Sears was not joking when he said that Byron Bay is the most spiritual place on earth.
He is returning to Byron Bay for a series of gatherings with like-minded people.
The YouTube video, part of his Awaken with JP channel, has gathered almost 15,000 views in a week.
He boasts more than 105,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel.
The key to his success seems to be the mix of comedy and emotional coaching found on his YouTube channel.
The healer and comedian will be attending the International Tribe Design event in Byron Bay on April 4, where he is one of the guest speakers.
"I'll be a presenter on this event for light-hearted and like-minded people to gather and step deeper into their personal power, do some healing, have some fun and, most importantly, just be weird and feel okay with it," he said.
Mr Sears visited Byron Bay For the first time around 18 months ago.
"It does make me happy that everything on that video comes from my experience in Byron Bay," he said.
JP Sears has been an emotional healer for the past 14 years.
"I have a busy one-on-one practice with sessions with people from all over the world, a lot of that via Skype," he said.
Mr Sears admitted that the videos were a big part of the marketing of his business.
"What started as a bit of fun, made them look into my other videos and people started realising that there was something I could offer them," he said.
