Be careful on the rocks, Police remind locals

POLICE are asking locals to be careful when checking out local waterholes after a man was taken to hospital having injured himself at Dalwood Falls.

Around 4pm yesterday police from Richmond Local Area Command were called to Dalwood Falls, they stated on their official Facebook page.

They said a man in his mid 20's had jumped off the rocks and landed awkwardly hurting his back.

Police, Ambulance and Fire Brigade Officers carried the man to the top of the falls where he was taken to Lismore Base Hospital.

The police ended the statement by saying: "Just remember to be careful out there."
