Two more junior baseballers took on some of the top young players in the world when they gained national selection to contest the Cal Ripken Little league World Series. Michael Gahan and Mitchell Watt, both talented pitchers, travelled to the USA in 2007 to represent Australia.

Michael continued his rise in baseball and turned out for Australia again in the Under 16, Under 18 and Under 19 teams, and now plays college baseball in the United States.

30. Jordan Gahan

Australian representative duties were bestowed upon Jordan Gahan, Michael's younger brother, when he travelled to Japan to compete at the World Childrens Baseball fair in 2008.

31. James Linger

Linger representative duties in the National Team saw him turn out for Australia in 2008, 2009 and 2010, making forty appearances for his country. James also was signed to the Atlanta Braves organisation He was the youngest player ever to suit up for the Queensland Claxton Shield team.

32. Lachlan Allen

Elliott became FNC baseball fourth junior to suit up for Australia in 2013 at the Cal Ripken Little League World Series in the United Series. He took out the MVP award with his efforts against the powerhouse team Japan. He specialises in pitching and dominated some of the best junior baseballers in the world.

34. Kodey Wilford

Wilford represented Australia in 2014 when he was selected in the Under 15 team to tour Mexico. Kodey is a talented junior who possesses speed and great hands. He is capable of playing in a number of positions on the field.

35. Cain McClelland

The FNC baseball most recent Australian representative is Cain McClelland. His selection in the Under 12 team in 2015 saw him head to Taiwan to contest the World Under 12 Championships, where he took on the catching duties for the team.

FNC Baseball has also produced a number of players who have made Australian squads but have narrowly missed out on the National selection.

The number of players in the eighty year history of FNC baseball who have made Queensland State selection is much higher, and talented players continue to be produce. This can be attributed to quality coaching from FNC personnel and the week-by-week opportunity to compete and train on one of the best facilities in Australia.
