Bangles return to burn the eternal flame

THE Northern Rivers will be the first part of Australia to Walk like an Egyptian or enjoy a Manic Monday with acclaimed US all-girl band, The Bangles, kicking off their second Australian tour at Twin Towns in early October.

The Bangles, Susanna Hoffs and sisters Vicki and Debbi Peterson took the world by storm in the '80s with their album Different Light reaching the top five (peaking at two in the US and Australia) around the world.

The band returned to recording and touring after a 10-year break to record a song for the second Austin Powers movie.

Ticket prices for the Twin Towns show, planned for Saturday, October 4, have not yet been released.

For details call Twin Towns on 1800 014 014.
