Bangalow Road upgrade complete

ABOUT $1.2 million in improvement work on the Bangalow Road has been now completed.

Duty Labor MLC for Lismore, Peter Primrose, said the NSW Government had invested $1.2 million in the improvements to this road that connects Lismore with Bangalow.

“The work, near Donnans Road in Lismore, involved repairs to the existing surface and laying down new road with fresh sealing,” Mr Primrose said.

“This is good news for the 10,000 vehicles that use this part of Bangalow Road every day.

“These improvements will increase the durability of the road and reduce maintenance costs on the highway.

“This work will also reduce road noise and provide a smoother and safer road for all motorists.

“These improvements will also increase road safety."

This work was carried out by Lismore City Council on behalf of the RTA.
