Ballina op shop set to reopen after major repairs

IT HAS been a long hard month for volunteers, but Northern Rivers Animal Services' Ballina op shop is back in business.

After some major flood damage, repairs are now almost complete.

Volunteers are restocking shelves with the aim of reopening the business on Thursday.

"Once again NRAS would like to thank the Ballina Shire community who have supported the op shop and its animal welfare work for so many years," a spokesperson said.

"Your patience, understanding and concern for has been truly appreciated by the NRAS team."

Northern Rivers Animal Services is a self-funded, not-for-profit, registered charity that provides foster care and the re-homing of the abandoned, abused, lost and unwanted dogs and cats in the region.

The op shop is located in River St. Phone 6681 1860.
