Ballina to clash with Bangalow

BALLINA has the chance to consolidate its place in the top five if the seasiders can come out on top of an improving Bangalow, when they clash at Saunders Park tonight at 8pm in Football FNC premier league soccer.

Ballina will start fresh after their scheduled clash with Thistles on Saturday was washed out, while the Bluedogs will be backing up after a hard fought 1-1 draw with local rivals Byron Bay three days ago.

Despite missing midfielders James Tomlinson and Jake O’Grady, Ballina will still start as favourites against the last placed Bluedogs, but Bangalow has found some form in recent weeks and with a full strength side, pose a serious threat to the Seahorses top five ambitions.

After losing their first eight matches, the Bluedogs have earned a win and a draw from their last two starts, breathing life into their battle to avoid relegation.
