Azarenka, Radwanska in quarters

WOMEN'S No.3 seed Victoria Azarenka from Belarus will play Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska in the Australian Open quarter-finals after the pair recorded commanding victories on Sunday.

The in-form Azarenka started the day by chalking up her fourth successive straight-sets victory, beating Iveta Benesova from the Czech Republic 6-2 6-2 in a match lasting one hour and 17 minutes.

Azarenka has now equalled her best-ever performance at an Australian Open, having also previously reached the last eight in 2010.

She is riding a nine-match winning streak this year after previously winning the Sydney International.

The eighth-seeded Radwanska's fourth-round victory was even more comprehensive. The Pole needed only 54 minutes to oust No.22 seed Julia Goerges from Germany 6-1 6-1.
