Awesome Photo of the Day options lead to tied vote

TODAY'S Photo of the Day is essentially the result of a coin toss after Sarah Rickard and Tymikka Young tied in the voting in yesterday's poll, each picking up 31% of the vote.

Sarah's entry was this lovely sunset taken at Brooms Head, while Tymikka had a dramatic photo of one of last year's storm fronts along with a wish a new storm might come along soon and fill her ailing water tanks.

Both Sarah and Tymikka have previously submitted images for Photo of the Day but neither have made it through the voting before (although the images they have submitted have always been fantastic). Both photos have been included in our permanent, expanding gallery of photos of the day. You can see the gallery below.

As my water tanks are almost empty, im posting this pic i took of one of last years storm cells that went through in hope it rains very soon.
