Clock ticking down to Lismore Business Excellence Awards
THE clock is ticking down to the annual awards night that recognises Lismore's best and brightest in business.
With less than a week remaining, local businesses are being encouraged to throw their name in the hat for the chance at scooping up an award at the 2015 Crowe Horwath Lismore Business Excellence Awards.
This year's categories include hospitality, tourism and accommodation, retail, professional services, trade construction manufacturing and innovation, personal services, entrepreneur of the year, excellence in sustainability, home based business, community and social services, people's choice and business of the year.
The major sponsor for this year's event, Crowe Horwath, has made it even easier for businesses to enter with a "cheat sheet" that breaks down the entry criteria.
Crowe Horwath marketing manager Catherine Bashforth said the aim of the cheat sheet was to encourage more businesses to apply.
"We really do understand the time constraints that many business operators face, so we wanted to assist them where possible," she said.
"Entering the awards is a fantastic way to take a step back and review where you are and what you want to achieve, we hope the cheat sheet helps make the process easy and time efficient."
Entries are currently open and close on Monday, June 15.
This year's Lismore Business Excellence Awards will be held at the Lismore Showgrounds on August 1.
