Kookaburras take down Netherlands in WL warm-up match

RUSSELL Ford scored his 50th goal for Australia as the Kookaburras beat the Netherlands 5-2 in a World League warm-up game in Rotterdam.

Captain Eddie Ockenden, Matthew Swann, Aran Zalewski, and Trent Mitton were also on target in the win, Australia's second over the Dutch following Thursday's 3-1 victory.

The Kookaburras' final warm-up match was against Belgium overnight, the country they play first when the World League starts this week.

Meanwhile, Anna Flanagan's goal earned the Hockeyroos a 1-1 draw in a warm-up against Belgium.
