Arthritis, joint pain questions answered

ST VINCENTS Private Hospital is hosting a free community information seminar on Saturday April 6 for those who are living with joint pain and looking for relief options.

Three local specialist orthopaedic consultant doctors will be presenting relevant, up-to-date information on arthritis, injury management and treatment options. They will share their knowledge on non-surgical and surgical options available.

Bob Walsh, chief executive officer of St Vincent's Private Hospital, said that the presentation has been organised as the hospital identified a shortage of information about orthopedic services and surgery available in the community.

"This information seminar is a great opportunity to meet three of the North Coast's orthopedic specialists and ask them questions directly," said Mr Walsh.

These highly experienced specialists will be providing a general talk on their allocated topic with time for questions after the presentation. The information seminar is free and open to the public, with tea and coffee provided.

"Everyone is welcome. It may be a procedure that you need to undertake in the short term or thinking about in the long term, we encourage you to come and get your questions answered," said Mr Walsh.
