Art classes for Ballina kids

HAILEY AINSWORTH’S Art Classes for Kids in Ballina is a great way to keep kids entertained in a safe, nurturing environment.

“We have classes of eight, so the kids get plenty of individual attention,” Hailey says.

“We do drawing, painting, clay work, printing and collage.

“The kids just love it – every child we have had come here really enjoys themselves.”

Hailey says that the benefits the kids get out of the art classes include an improvement in their drawing skills, more confidence, and increased social skills.

“Working in a group is a great way for kids to learn about teamwork, sharing and waiting your turn.”

“The classes aren’t about teaching a right or wrong way to draw or paint,” she says.

“It’s about allowing the kids to express themselves.”

Hailey’s Art Classes are running January 12-15 9.30am – 12.30pm; and January 18-21 9.30am – 12.30pm. The classes also run weekday afternoons throughout the school term.
