Arrest after threats

POLICE have raced to Coraki after reports a man had become violent and was threatening people.

Officers from Lismore, Evans Head and Ballina were all tasked to the Box Ridge indigenous mission.

A police media spokesman said initial reports were that a man was causing trouble and there was a possibility he was affected by drugs.

A man was quickly arrested by officers and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
