Around the world: Search for Lismore relatives

AN Italian man is looking for his family, who were believed to live in Lismore in the past.

Fabrizio Bandinu contacted The Northern Star and said he was looking to find his Italian relatives who live in Australia.

"About 50 years ago, my uncle along with his wife, departed from Italy and precisely from Sardinia and moved to Australia in the Lismore town," Mr Bandinu said.

"(They) had children, the woman is called Italia.

"I tried their contacts on Facebook and Skype, but unfortunately found nothing.

"The family name is 'Piras-Allegria'."

If you could help Mr Bandinu find his family, please contact The Northern Star.
