Armed home invasion in Lismore

ABOUT 9.30pm three women and a 27-year-old man were inside a home on Park Street Lismore when two men forced entry to the home.

The men threatened the occupants with a firearm and metal bar demanding money. The two were given a small quantity of cash. They also stole a number of personal items from the occupants before fleeing the scene.

During the incident the 27-year-old man was assaulted. As a result he suffered bruising and lacerations to his head. He was treated at the scene by Paramedics before being taken to Lismore Hospital for treatment.

Lismore Police attended the scene and a crime scene was established. A canvass of the surrounding area was conducted.

Police would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Both are described as being of Caucasin appearance, aged in their early 20s.

The first man is described as being about 170cm tall with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white jumper with a hood and blue denim jeans.

The second man is described as being about 180cm tall with a solid build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey coloured jumper with a hood, a red bandana over his face and blue denim jeans.
