Local sports groups invited to apply for facilities grants

LOCAL sports groups can apply for up to $25,000 to improve facilities as part of the NSW Government's Sport Facility Program

Eligible projects include enhancing existing facilities (e.g. watering systems, safety netting, lighting and upgrade of surfaces) and providing ancillary facilities (e.g. sun protection shelters or change rooms).

The program aims to improve safety at facilities, improve amenities and address barriers to participation in sport.

Only community based not-for-profit sport clubs and associations can apply.

Applications are open and close on October 31.

For more details, or to apply, visit dsr.nsw.gov.au/grants or phone 13 13 02.
