Wyrallah pan-licker to motion at AGM?

By DARREN COYNE

CANINE Miller Magoo has a fascination with fire hydrants.

But unlike other dogs, Miller's interest is purely professional ... he's a trained mascot for the Wyrallah Brigade of the Rural Fire Service.

Wayne Roker, Miller's owner, said the four-year-old was happiest when he heard sirens.

"I've had him since he was six weeks old and he knows nothing but Rural Fire Service and working cattle," Mr Roker said.

"He's with me all the time. Never leaves my sight."

Mr Roker described Miller as a Clarence River Shorthair, which is 90pc dingo and 10pc working dog.

Miller is the only official four-legged member of the Rural Fire Service.

"I put it to the brigade at a meeting and they accepted him," Mr Roker said.
