Star makes Naomi?s wishes come true

LISMORE resident Naomi Garrard can't believe her luck.

She is one of six winners of a weekend pass to the Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay.

The festival this year will be headlined by Queens Of The Stone Age, from California.

Other acts on the bill include Aussie hip-hop act Hilltop Hoods and The Living End.

Tickets were scarce this year with punters snatching them up in record time.

"I had a ticket already but I really needed a ticket for my brother who's up from Sydney", Naomi said.

"We were going to try everything and anything.

"I was so determined to win this ticket I went to the petrol station and bought 10 Northern Stars.

"I can't believe it", she said. "I've never won anything in my life."
