NICK THEMSEN has the perfect solution for weary shoppers ? coffee!
And with this weekend's Lismore Unlimited Stocktake Sale, Mr Themsen is ready to offer a caffeine pick-me-up to plenty of tired bargain hunters.
The owner of Luv A Coffee in Carrington Street, Lismore, said he would be taking part in the city's new Cafe and Culture Trail to be launched tomorrow.
"I think it's a great initiative," Mr Themsen said. "Anything that brings more people to the CBD is a good thing."
Luv A Coffee is one of five cafes on the self-guided walk around Lismore's CBD, which also in- cludes The Mecca, Caddies, Cafe 29 and Henry's.
The trail aims to raise Lismore's appeal as a cultural and culinary destination. It starts outside Noahs Arc Bookstore in Magellan Street at 11am.
Lismore Tourism marketing development officer, Lisa Murphy, said the trail would give visitors a new perspective on Lismore.
"The cafe and culture trail is really about capitalising on Lismore's assets and inviting people to experience its hospitality and culture," Lisa said. "It will encourage significantly more visitors to Lismore, as well as promote our city's positive aspects."
Lismore Unlimited's Stocktake Sale runs from 9am-5pm tomorrow, and from 10am-2pm on Sunday.
