Redbacks end drought

GRAFTON Indoor Cricket's men's No.1 and No.2 teams finished the season on a high note winning their respective divisions of the Northern NSW Indoor Super League competition. The men's No.1 team remained undefeated throughout the season culminating in a 112-70 grand final win over Coffs Harbour in Tamworth. After finishing runner-up on several occasions it was the No.1 team's first grand final win in 13 years. The No.2 team beat Port Macquarie in the grand final, 79-48. Grafton's Over-30 team finished third after being defeated in the repechage, while the Over-40s team finished fourth. Numerous members of the six Grafton sides made All-Star teams. Grafton Indoor Cricket Centre spokesman, Australian Indoor cricket representative Andrew Firth, wished to thank the club's major sponsors ? Jacaranda Hotel, Westlawn Finance, Crown Hotel, Steve McKimm's Real Estate, Clarence Valley Sheds, Treadway Embroidery and Liquor Land. The club's presentation night will be held at the Jacaranda Hotel from 6pm on Saturday.
