"RESPECT the officials."
That was Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League Judiciary chairman Wilson Cregan's warning after two players were suspended for dissent and foul language during the week.
South Grafton's Scott Laurie has been suspended for three matches after being sent off during last weekend's game against Mullumbimby.
Marist Brothers reserve grader Brendan Randall received a two-match ban, with a three-match deferred sentence, after being cited during a game against Murwillumbah two weeks ago.
Randall will also be required to formally apologise to officials involved.
Cregan said the judiciary was sending a clear message that dissent and bad language towards officials would not be tolerated.
