Pauline back in form

OCEAN Shores pro surfer Pauline Menczer, pictured, was back in fine form at the Energy Australia Women's WQS event in Newcastle last weekend.

Menczer came second, behind Maroubra's Lynette McKenzie, the best result of the large Far North Coast contingent.

Others to perform well included Byron Bay surfers Carly Smith, who was ninth in the women's, and young Luke Stickley, ninth in the Wild Surf Pro-Teen event.
