Ossie the man to ask for a tip

WANT a tip from Ossie Moore? Golf fans might learn a thing or two about their swing if they get along to the Ramada Ballina Golf Club Pro-Am today. Moore, the Fox Sports television golf coach, is among 70 professionals vying for the $10,000 professional purse in the one-day shoot-out. He is off to Europe next year to join the European Seniors tour, and Ballina Golf Club pro Trevor Russell said Moore still had a solid game. "Ossie is a former top-line player," he said. "He still plays a really good game of golf." Action at the Ballina Golf Club will start when the first group teee off at 7am. The second group, including Moore and Rodger Davis, will start at 12 noon. Russell said everyone was encouraged to come and watch.
