On track for a great weekend of BMX at Casino

CASINO'S Adam McDonald will be one of more than 100 BMX riders converging on the Crawford Square track at Casino this weekend for the third round of the Northern Regional Series.

Competitors from as far afield as Tamworth will be competing against the best of the locals.

Age groups vary from three-and-a-half-year-olds to 65 years and over.

The Casino BMX Club has recently completed some major work at the track, extending it from six to eight lanes.

The distance of the track has also been lengthened, which will give the club the opportunity to host State and national championships.

Racing will start this afternoon at 2 o'clock and continue tomorrow morning from 10 o'clock.
