Netball star on death counts

By ALEX EASTON

NETBALL star Katie Bradstock will get her day in court in February.

The hearing comes more than a year after the traffic accident that killed her mother, and which she has been charged with causing.

Bradstock, 21, has been charged with causing the deaths of her mother, Jennifer, and a male passenger, Peter Wilson, as well as causing grievous bodily harm to her younger sister, Kirrily.

She is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a passenger of the car she is alleged to have run into while driving on the Pacific Highway, south of Woodburn, in January.

Bradstock faces eight charges over the incident, but is yet to enter a plea or make a statement to police about the incident.

In setting down a hearing date for February next year, prosecution and defence lawyers said that four witnesses to the crash would be called to give evidence about the ac- cident.
