Local Masters beat the rush

Lismore Workers Masters Games co-ordinator John Bancroft is urging locals to beat the Friday morning sign-on rush by registering tonight from 5 o'clock.

The games office, inside the Lismore Workers Club, opens from 5pm today, allowing competitors to sign-on and collect their packs of goodies.

"As we are expecting many hundreds to arrive Friday morning, the Wednesday night option for locals is designed to be a stress and line up-free occasion," Bancroft said.

All competitors must sign for their own gear and copies of all draws, social programs etc. will also be available.
