Irish tourist plans to go home

By ANDY PARKS andy.parks@northernstar.com.au LOST and found Irishman Cormac Lally is to go back to Ireland.

Cormac, who is still recovering in Tweed Heads hospital, was visited yesterday by a representative of the Irish Consulate.

Cormac's visa has expired and a bridging visa has been granted while arrangements to get him home can be made. Cormac went missing 11 days ago from his home at Main Arm, near Mullumbimby. He turned up on Tuesday after wandering through the bush for eight days.

According to his brother Emmet, the details of what happened are still not known.
