House tipped to fetch $1m

By STEPHANIE FORESTER

REAL estate agents in Brunswick Heads reckon it's the best listing they've seen ? ever.

And Michael Kelly, of Byron Shire Real Estate, was the lucky bugger who listed it.

The 120-year-old Queenslander in Mullumbimbi Street will go under the hammer on November 20.

It's expected to fetch around $1 million, said Mr Kelly.

"More than 50 groups came through in the first week," he said. "Most are curious, a few are serious ? one bloke wants to knock it down for shops."

For the past 40 years, the house has belonged to the Wakely family.
