Grand final shapes as a gripping contest

A blaze of lights will welcome all nine divisions to Hepburn Park, Goonellabah, tonight for the grand finals of Lismore Touch.

In men's A-grade, Northern United and Marques take centre stage for what should be a gripping grand final.

Marques earned their place with a strong win over Dodgy Bros, but this will be a different game and Marques will have to work hard to win this one.

Quayside thrashed NRMA 6-2 in the Over-45s major semi-final and has the firepower to take on Moon's Maulers. This game could go close to a drop-off to get a result.

In the women's division, Roxy beat Strawberry Tarts 4-1 in the preliminary final and if they play with the same determination against Sure Hygiene it should be an excellent grand final.

In other divisions, Wombats take on Civics, Recycled Sports do battle with the confident Hooligans and Up and Coming face Naked Guns. In the mixed, Lats Rat Pack play Marques in another tough game to pick.

The canteen and barbecue will operate.
