Girls are back in action again

AFTER the cancellation of the 2003 show, this year saw the welcome and much-anticipated return of the Kyogle Showgirl competition.

Along with the coveted Showgirl title, the Miss Teenager, Miss Junior Showgirl, and the Tiny Tot award were all up for grabs.

Kyogle Showgirl was won by Jane Wilson, with Rebecca Clarke named runner-up.

Seventeen-year-old Skye Bellman, of Kyogle, was named Miss Teenager.

Skye, who has lived just outside Kyogle all her life, said she enjoyed every part of the competition and had entered to try something different.

Willa Scarrabelotti, aged nine, was named Miss Junior Showgirl.

In the Tiny Tot section, five-year-old Tara Coles was awarded the title.
