Four national titles!

THE Far North Coast longboard team returned from Port Macquarie last week with four Australian titles and a swag of finals placings, showing real strength of the discipline in this region. Congratulations to all. Twenty-two surfers represented FNC in the 73-surfer NSW team, with 11 of those making it through to the finals. New Australian champions are Chelsea Williams (Tweed Heads) in the open women; Gary Burden (Suffolk Park) in the Over-45s; Peter Becker (Palmvale) in the Over-50s; and Alan Atkins (Byron Bay) in the Over-55s.
