Final Friday for would-be Masters Gamers

THE ROUS Hotel (Lismore) Friday Club gathering this week marks the cut-off point for entries in the 2005 Lismore Workers Club Masters Games, scheduled from September 23-25.

The August 19 deadline involves the return of nomination forms and the payment of entry fees.

Yesterday, organisers said entries were around the 1200-mark, plus 160 social entries.

Entry forms/fees can be returned to the Lismore City Council Chambers in Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah, to the Visitor Information Centre, Molesworth Street, Lismore or can be returned by post to PO Box 23a Lismore NSW 2480.

There's also the option of returning them to organisers John Bancroft and Leanne Clark at the Rous Hotel (Lismore) Friday Club this week until 7.30pm.

This week's last gathering of the Friday Club, which starts at 5.30pm, also will feature prize giveaways provided by the Rous and other Games sponsors, a live band and a chance to get in early on Games merchandise.

Inquiries regarding the Masters Games can be directed to 6622 8147.
