Exciting win to Yo Yo Thriller ? no strings attached

Yo Yo Thriller scored an exciting win in the Lismore Workers Club Triple Win Final (520m) at the Lismore greyhounds on Tuesday night.

The Ray Minty-trained sprinter jumped in front from box five and led clearly down the back straight.

Although he was getting tired in the last 40 metres, he hung on well.

Yo Yo Thriller beat Spot The Clown, which raced erratically in the home straight, by a head with Wally Pockets four lengths away third.

The time of 30.00 seconds was the best of the night over the 520m.

Yo Yo Thriller has now won four of his seven starts and there should be plenty more wins in store.

Real Picture continued on his winning way for Mark Wilkes of Casino when he took out the eighth race, the Addis Boy at Stud Stk (520m).

Real Picture trailed the early leader Diamond Laroo in the run to the first turn the strode away for a solid 21/2-length win over that greyhound.

Real Trick ran on well to take third money a further half-length away.

The winner clocked the handy time of 30.06 seconds.

Real Picture has now won six races in Lismore, including three of his past four outings.

He gives the impression he is capable of winning at Wentworth Park or Albion Park.
