Eleven Bulls for FNC rugby squad

THEY may not have made the grand final, but minor premiers Casino have contributed 11 players to the Far North Coast Rugby Union zone squad named yesterday.

However, not far behind them are grand final winners Ballina, with 10 players selected.

The squad will form the basis of the team to represent the zone in the Northern Provincial Championships in 2006.

Trials will be played in February and March, including games against Mid-North Coast (March 11), New England (March 18) and Western Plains (March 25).
