Diocese hosts touch play-offs



MORE than 400 touch players hit Lismore last week for the 2007 Lismore Diocesan Touch Championships hosted by Trinity Catholic College.

The championships, held at Hepburn Park Goonellabah late last week, involved 10 secondary schools from Port Macquarie to the Queensland border.

St. Johns College, Woodlawn won the The Under-16s boys division beating Xavier College, Ballina, 6-3.

Xavier College won the Under-19 girlsand they took out the Under-19s boys as well, beating Trinity 3-2.
